Two great slideshow programs
I frequently get asked what slideshow programs I use. There are two that I like a lot...
$69
This is hands down the best $69 slideshow software.
Pros:
-Edit your photos and video within the program- exposure, contrast, turn to BW, crop, etc. It will export to many different formats- DVD, video for iPod, etc. and now converts to FLASH. Pan, zoom, rotate, etc. Now add multiple layers to one slide, each having its own transition effect. It will combine multiple shows. Great Price!
Cons: PC only. Big learning curve if you want to learn everything it can do.
I use this program when I want to incorporate videos and stills and need to burn a show to DVD. I also have the good fortune of being one of their feature photographers. You can view one of my OLD slideshows on their website.
The best program for creating slideshows online.
Pros: Very clean and elegant design. Creates shows very quickly and can sync each slide to the beat of the song. A gallery feature. Easy to learn.
Cons: Can not add video, can not export to DVD. A little on the pricey side for ver 2 but I think it is worth it.
I used this program to create the splash page of my website www.scottrobertgallery.com When I want to post a show to the web with only with stills, I use this program. If it could incorporate video clips, I'd use it more! They also feature one of my shows on the website too. thanks DJ!

Aw man, watching Phoebe rip open her present just warmed my heart.
What a timely post. I was just searching online for a slideshow program and thought to myself, "hey..let's see what Scott uses".
Merry Christmas!
That was a great slide show! Your daughters are very cute! Have a Merry Christmas!
cute kids
. I've only used a few programs for slideshows... maybe I'll give these a shot. Thanks for the suggestion
.
looks like an awesome time in the slideshow, Merry Christmas to you and all of your family
Its so funny that I come buy to brag to you that I got the Tamron 17-50 on Amazon based on your recommendation
and here you are...selling them and you just SOLD them when I could have purchased it from you! Hmpph!
I was going to tell you how much I love the lens. I didn't expect the quality to be so good. My canon 28mm
broke sunday so I ordered the Tamron because of the fixed 2.8 throughout the 17-50 range.
Thanks for sharing the slideshow programs...I really enjoyed seeing your adorable children. I like how you
mixed short movies and snapshots together.
Both of your little girls are just adorable. Merry Christmas and have a Joyeous New Year.
hey Mr. Photoman...where is the Family Xmas Photo on the Blog??? The entire clan together man.
Borelfoto, uhhhh it's not Christmas yet!!!
i see you got Chole a Hello Kitty hair dryer. good choice! all of your slideshows put a smile on my face. regarding your other post below, i love going to Downtown Disney, especially during the holidays. the lights they put up, and all the stores. yeah, Department 56 is a nice store, they always have so many decorations. i think there's also one at Pier 39 in SF.
Yeah, I agree with ProShow Gold! Great software. It does take some time to get familiar with it.
Good post. I learn something totally new and challenging on blogs
I stumbleupon everyday. It's always exciting to read through content from other authors and use
something from their web sites.
