If you live around the OC in Southern California, there is great place to take some holiday photos in Downtown Disney- A nice marketplace to spend an evening mingling with all the tourists that are visiting Disneyland. There is no charge to walk around, dine and do some shopping, go see a movie or visit the ESPN zone. This is the place where they do a lot of live shows and interviews.
My wife just loves Department 56 especially around Christmas time because they create several holiday scenes with miniatures. I started snapping away with my 20D and no one said a word to me. In fact so many people were also taking pictures- of course with their POS digitals and with a flash which just ruins the shot. Either the retail clerks are terribly busy or they just don't mind people taking pictures in their store.
Anyways, it was fun for me taking stills- I rarely get to do it other than detail shots at weddings.
ALL these photos were taken with my 20D.
