How To Take Extraordinary Pictures
Rock, Paper, Scissors I had a chance to play "rock, paper, scissors" with some children at an orphanage in China. I couldn't believe the reaction I caused. Every child was running up to me, wanting to play this universal game. I couldn't speak Chinese so this was my way of communicating.
For a few brief minutes, I felt like the most popular man in China. Every child desperately wanted to spend a few brief seconds with me. I realized at that moment what a blessing it is to have family and a father or mother who loves you. It seems like a simple thing, just part of everyday life but the gift of love is an extraordinary thing.
As I began to leave, the children came running after me. I turned around and took this picture. It was a profound moment in my photographic career because I realized my interaction with the human experience can create a powerful image.

Extraordinary images are the result of extraordinary living. Live life and begin to see your photography in a brand new way.
I'm taking a photography group to China this year, anyone interested?
Btw, I took this picture with a Nikon film camera, N80 with a 35mm prime.
